Toasting and roasting in a medium wavelength infrared tunnel

If roasting and toasting coffee are well-known applications, a wide range of other products change in flavor or/and appearance when processed in a toasting or roasting in a medium wavelength infrared tunnel.  These products include most cereals, seeds and dried fruits as well as wood chips, argan, pasta, rice and many other food products.
Infrared roasting and toasting ovens deliver useful energy without contact on the surface of the food products for an immediate efficiency. For more uniform and controlled toasting results, the infrared panels can be integrated above vibrating conveyors or mixers specifically designed for these purposes.

Toasting ovens are highly stable and unaffected by external working conditions. The toasting tunnels are able of compensating for the convective part of any heat tunnel through the responsive reaction of their emitters. This ensures optimal thermal control and prevents unnecessary heating of the entire product, making infrared toasting tunnel an ideal solution for roasting cold products.
Infrared toasting ovens can be designed as conventional ovens or as simple medium wavelength infrared panels in an open process.
