Prestressed concrete drying on electric infrared lines

The best and cheapest solution for concrete drying is known all over the world: put your concrete products under the sun and… wait.

This is perfect except if the production plant is too little for stock, if the time between order and delivery is limited, or worst case, if the concrete products like prestressed concrete are immobilizing the production tools. In that case, the drying time becomes primordial.

With its electric infrared drying lines, CSI drastically reduces this time without altering the quality of the concrete. CSI has provided the concrete industry with efficient and reliable temperature control and drying systems that allow for precise control, guaranteeing the safety of strategic technical cement such as load-bearing architectural structures or railroad sleepers.
The direct electric infrared radiation systems developed by CSI reduce the energy required to dry concrete compared to conventional solutions. Comparative studies have shown a huge increase in reactivity and a reduction in energy consumption by 50% during the hardening process.

For large electric infrared drying installations, the CSI supervision system can control a variety of power variation zones, smoothing power requirements, reducing contracts and power supplies. You can also save casting data of more than 6 infrared drying lines.

In terms of maintenance, the electrical connections are separated from the thermal section (temperature, condensation) and the CSI emitters, which are of reasonable length, also reduce maintenance and transport costs for replacement.
