Gas and electric infrared dryers

Chaudelec Systèmes Industriels (CSI) designs and manufactures custom gas or electric IR tunnels to dry chemical or aqueous treatments on steel or aluminum coils running at highly variable speeds, from few meters per minute up to over 200 meters per minute and for gauges ranging from 0.2 to 2 mm.
CSI’s gas and electric infrared dryers are able to deliver high power densities reaching up to 700 kW/m². Available both vertical and horizontal designs, the gas or electric dryers can be integrated into new production line or into existing lines where conventional hot air drying is not feasible.

One of the key advantages of IR technologies is its instantaneous response time. This is particularly beneficial for lines with various productions in order to reduce transitional phases and associated production losses.
Gas and electrical infrared technologies also optimize power used by selecting radiation width according to the selected web width, significantly reducing energy consumption.

CSI’s gas and electric infrared dryers are designed for quick and efficient maintenance (panels mounted on drawers, easy access to wear parts, etc.)
