Some applications do not necessarily require high power density. CSI offers industrial low-density tunnels, or even standalone panels to be installed by the user, tailored to applications where moderate energy is sufficient. Despite their lower intensity, the low-density infrared installations can still reach power densities of up to 150 kW/m² and deliver many of the benefits as high density configurations.
Industrial low-density infrared systems are particularly well-suited for solvent management and provide important reactivity during transitional phases such as speed changes, color, width or thickness. One or more pyrometric control loops can be provided to offer the greatest flexibility in the application.
In low density electric infrared curing tunnels, energy efficiency is further optimized by selecting the radiation width to the actual web width, minimizing unnecessary energy consumption.
Finally, CSI curing tunnels are designed for fast and easy maintenance (panels mounted on drawers, easy access to wear parts).
Depending on process requirements, CSI low-density electric curing tunnels can be equipped with different kinds of infrared technologies from medium wave to short-wave emitters.
