Pre-stressed concrete drying on gas infrared lines

The traditional method for drying concrete, placing products in the sun and waiting, is low-cost but presents limitations. When production space is limited, deadlines are tight, or pre-stressed elements occupy important tools, drying time becomes primordial.
CSI offers gas infrared drying systems that drastically reduce this time without compromising concrete quality. The CSI gas systems offer precise temperature control and reliable performance, making them perfect for technical cement applications such as load-bearing structures and railway sleepers.
Compared to conventional methods, Chaudelec direct gas infrared radiation technology significantly reduces energy consumption for concrete drying. It also prevents cement drops with damaging risks for the emitters. Current industrial applications show a fourfold increase in drying reactivity and up to 50% less energy usage. This allows an increase in productivity without changes in energy contracts.
Large gas concrete installations benefit from CSI’s advanced supervision system, capable of managing multiple power variation zones. This helps optimize energy demand, reduce supply contracts, and store casting data from more than six infrared lines, which are very important for quality control and traceability.
Maintenance is also optimized: connections are separated from thermal zones, reducing and simplifying services. CSI’s gas emitters are standardized to reduce operational costs and ensure rapid replacement from manufacturer stock in case of emergency.
