After the success of the industrial electric medium infrared oven for browning omelets in plastic trays in Harrisburg, Chaudelec Systèmes Industriels – CSI has been requested for a bigger more infrared grill with gas infrared burners. This new installation has been installed in San Antonio, Texas. With the same length as the Harrisburg installation but a double width of 5 meters, this infrared tunnel is without doubt the biggest IR grill in USA.
With a medium gas infrared power of 700kW, the IR oven can brown 36,000 omelet portions per hour.
To avoid browning disparities on the 5 meters wide, an electric infrared row of 110kW at the exit of the IR grill authorizes power adjustments.
Line shutdowns result in an immediate removal of the infrared heaters to avoid damaging the appearance of the products. The removal system is also very useful for cleaning and maintaining the infrared tunnel.
The electrical and mechanical equipment used is, of course, compliant with UL/CSA standards.
Chaudelec Systèmes Industriels – CSI is a leading provider of dairy product browning equipment, with more than 10 lines currently in operation in France, including the browning of croque-monsieur sandwiches and other on the surface of various products such as deli dishes. Chaudelec Systèmes Industriels has also already demonstrated the feasibility of browning food in plastic packaging, for example, on lines of NESTLE and YOPLAIT.
