Dual tone infrared ovens for two-tone versions of cars in automotive industry

More and more cars are available in two-tone versions – where two different colors are applied to the same car bodywork. So, dual tone infrared ovens have become the best solution for these new kinds of automotive production lines.

Short infrared ovens or tunnels provide a good alternative as they heat specific points of the second paint layer applied without an increase in temperature of the first one. The dual tone infrared ovens can also heat only the cars with a second coat if monotone and two-tone versions are applied on the same automotive line.
Like IR speed-up tunnels, infrared elements can be placed before convection ovens, in the entrance of existing automotive ovens, or simply replace them, depending on the process.

Dual-tone infrared ovens are also very effective for the new 3 wet or 4 wet curing lines in automotive industry.
