Infrared heating systems for plastic parts : enhanced molding and forming by CSI

Infrared heating systems can be used to heat plastic parts (SMC, GMT, etc.) before molding, forming to facilitate mechanical operations. The infrared heating can be also used after molding to extract VOCs or restore shape memory. CSI develops infrared systems adapted to continuous, stop and go conveyor systems or drawer systems, which allow for controlled and optimized temperature increase.

Short or medium electric IR technologies are used depending on plastics reactivity, homogeneity and localization needs. The infrared heating systems can be a whole system, or specific tailormade infrared 3D emitters put at strategic places in a glue reticulation station.
Production data and confirmation tests are used to develop the right infrared heating equipment for plastic parts.

As usual, CSI infrared heating systems for plastics parts are designed for easy maintenance.

So, for molding and forming plastics parts enhanced operations, think CSI, Chaudelec Systèmes Industriels.

Infrared heating systems for plastic parts like bumpers or car trunks

Infrared technology is also highly effective for post-molding treatment of plastic parts such as SMC, GMT, and other composite materials. The aim can be the extraction of VOCs or the improvement of their mechanical structure, particularly on bumpers and car trunks. In partnership with several...
