Most of the CHAUDELEC SYSTEMES INDUSTRIELS – CSI infrared furnaces are in reality, tunnels where vehicles, parts on conveyor trays or conveyor belts are passing through. Several examples of gas or electric infrared tunnels are shown on our website.
But, sometimes, gas infrared arches cannot be used due to the huge difference of size or shape or weight between the painted parts to cure or dry.
In that case, CHAUDELEC SYSTEMES INDUSTRIELS – CSI proposes simply an infrared drying booth (in fact a cube) where industrial infrared burners are dispatched on the painted sides (from one side to six sides) with ability to move them manually or automatically if requested.
This kind of paint curing booths speed up the drying or curing temperature target, increasing drastically the production capacity.
Chaudelec Systèmes Industriels (CSI) designs gas infrared booths to enhance any paint line on Customer request and after a detailed analysis of the current equipment. The objective is not to the maximum of infrared heaters, but to put the right infrared heat at the right place for the best performance.
The gas IR furnace can be given to a global surface as traditional ovens or to a specific point for precisely specified radiation.
Gas IR Power density is also adapted to the process. CSI gas industrial infrared burners can provide power densities of up to 250 kW/m² as well as much lower IR densities if the parts or products do not permit important temperature ramps.
