Laboratory ovens for optimizing paints, coatings, and their curing or drying cycles

Chaudelec Systèmes Industriels (CSI) has built extensive expertise in paint curing through its design and installation of industrial IR and UV (infrared and ultraviolet) ovens and tunnels all over the world. Our solutions serve a wide range of industries, including automotive, plastic components, metallurgy, and the highly demanding coil-coating sector.

Due to its large experience, CSI is the natural and preferred partner for any company seeking to test its formulations. To this end, CSI has designed laboratory ovens for leading paint manufacturers such as PPG, BECKERS, AKZO, NIPPON PAINT, NOF COATINGS, MADER, and more.

Of course, each paint formulator has unique needs and requirements.

  • CSI does not sell standard laboratory ovens, which are often ill-suited to the specific needs of our clients.
  • Instead, CSI gathers client data, analyzes it, and designs the infrared, ultraviolet, and/or Ebeam system that truly meets the client’s requirements.

The IR, UV, and/or Ebeam oven can feature vertical or horizontal panels—or both. The feeding system for flat panels or 3D parts can use a conveyor or a drawer. Curing can be static, dynamic, or performed on a rotary system. There is no real limit, just to find the right answer for the right needs.

Naturally, operators testing their formulations expect a system that is easy to use, but above all, reliable and consistent. All necessary measurement tools are provided (pyrometry, contact, and ambient measurements). This data is collected during curing cycles and stored for retrieval via network connection or USB drive.
